“When Things got hard, you started looking for something to blame. Like a Big Shadow.
Let me tell you something you already know…
The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently IF YOU LET IT…
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But It ain’t about how hard you hit… it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward? THAT’S HOW WINNING IS DONE!
Now if you know what you’re worth, Go out and Get What Your Worth, But you gotta be willing to take the hits. And not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. COWARDS DO THAT AND THAT AIN’T YOU! YOU’RE BETTER THAN THAT.”
These are words from a Father to a Son, and of course it may have come out from a super movie, but lets read it again and compare it to todays living. Rocky Balboa advised his son with this inspirational words and honestly, I can take this to the bank because it hits me in the face every day. How many of you get hit so bad that you fall down and blame someone else for the fall instead of getting back up and fighting hard to get on top.
I see a whole lot of us get lazy and get defeated in that atmosphere for failing. Everyone who has succeeded today had failed one time or many in their lives. Some of them got to the top with bruises and great lessons learnt that falling again will not occur the way they did the first time, if it happens again that is. Some fell and never bothered to fight back but blamed the system, their mother in law, father in law, best friend, colleague at work, competitors etc.
The next prefered solution is to meet with the man of God or any spiritual power who will rest your soul with those encouraging words, Pray about it, or make certain sacrifices. Yes, we all pray about it. But the Mighty God also expects us to get up and work for him to bless the works of our hands.
I am definitely not against the church but I am flabbergasted at the rate some of this new churches grow in riches and the followers get busy running from church to church because they did not get their blessings after they have continuously paid their tithes, pledges, offerings and all the spiritual demands. then you get blamed for not having enough faith to get your blessings. Can you beat that? the pastor knows what God said to you and said it to your face, you don’t have faith but yet you sowed.
Back to my featured quote. “You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But It ain’t about how hard you hit… it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward? THAT’S HOW WINNING IS DONE!” Life is here to hit you and that’s how you grow in it and make success out of it. I listened to a preacher talk about Work and Job.
This explains a lot. If you don’t make yourself the “work” how will you get the “job”? simply put, if you don’t qualify with a skill to do a job, the job will not come to you and if it does by crook, you wont succeed. Why pray for a miracle when you don’t know how to keep it or take care of it. When you lose it, it becomes ” they don’t like me” then where is your strength?
Fellas, please note that we all have been given talents to succeed in life, how you use yours determines how you succeed. you can’t succeed by praying alone, you gotta work. Get beat and get up and win, take the hit, no one will give you Roses and not expect something back. Even our God expects something back from you. Worship and Praise. All the money you have in this world came from him. He said, Give unto Ceazer wat is Ceazer’s and to God what is Gods’
2 Timothy 4: 3-4: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.
